Reader Reviews & Impressions

“This book contains suspense, passion, and drama… I see this as spicy romance. I’m ambivalent about the characters’ behavior — is the egocentric Christos good or bad, hero or antagonist? My feelings shift between positive and negative — and that’s exactly what I appreciate in books and films.” // Basilica’s blog

“A fantastic debut with a striking language! It is funny, wise, sexy, and contemplative. About growth and daring to live in true Marianne style…” // Bookbeat

“I’m already looking forward to the next book. It is beautifully written and offers a vivid depiction of the island, the environment, the people, and life. I’ve laughed, cried…” // reader in Bokus.
